It takes a village! And let’s just say, this has certainly been the case when developing my Etsy store.
I have wanted a shop of my own since I was knee high to a grasshopper! Every time I would clean out the house and find treasures (of which I have MANY), I’d be chagrined that I would either have to host a garage sale or donate all of my “good” stuff. I do give plenty away… because I KNOW that getting rid of things just creates a vacuum for better stuff to come, but I wanted a shop of my own so things could reside with me at least temporarily. Since everything is temporary… why not just have that notion flow to fun and interesting things too.
Now, along with my line of greeting cards, bookmarks and ready-to-hang artwork, I will be selling original art, Giclée prints, paintings and an odd assortment of cool items I’ve used as props or collected for years and need to let go of! I am also going to sell things I make just for fun, like Gelli prints, sticker sheets and collage materials.
So be on the look-out for a constantly changing assortment of available treasures, because you never know what you’ll find. And while you are at it, why don’t you pick up a few cards and send someone some Snail Mail… how romantic!
