Haven’t been by First Street Gallery & Custom Framing in Encinitas to explore my “Before, During & After” Exhibit? Well, what are you waiting for?
I put together this show to celebrate the culmination of my year-long journey following my artist residency in Morocco. Each piece reflects a special part of my journey, and are deeply influenced by the profound connections I made while in this magical place. The sights. The sounds. The tastes. The people. They can all be found in the work I created before, during and after this great adventure. As diverse as the people I encountered, the pieces include a Japanese stab binding Artist Book, leather tote bags made with a Moroccan leather artisan and several mixed media pieces.
